There is no doubt that Farming Simulator is one of the most enjoyable games out there. However, adding mods to FS22 will make the game extra fun as well as easier to handle some tasks in game. Learn how to download and install mods with this step by step guide.

Step 1
In order to add mods we are going to find a mod website we trust, for example, we ourselves like using www.farming-simulator.com (not sponsored).
Step 2
Then we need to select a mod or the mods we are going to be installing, for this tutorial we will be using the Lumberjack mod. Simply type the mod you want into the search bar, or feel free to explore the Top Downloaded or Latest mods tab.
Step 3
Click the mod and then click the button labeled as ZIP DOWNLOAD.
Step 4
Clicking ZIP DOWNLOAD will start the download for the Zip file of the mod.
Drag and drop this file into the mods folder of Farming Simulator which is found following this order : C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods
Step 5
Now open the game using your launcher of preference, we use Xbox Launcher but you might use Steam.
Click the Downloadable Content button.
Step 6
Click on the Installed Mods tab and see if your mod is showing, and check if it needs an update.
Step 7
Now to use the mods simply create a world, or start a server and when prompted or asked if you want to add mods, select the mods you will be adding and hit Start.
Done!
You are now able to go and enjoy the mods in Farming Simulator 22. Use the mods wisely and we recommend you always read about each mod that you might add to your game. Make sure to check if your PC could handle the mods that you will be adding.
